⚙️Assessment Setup

Overview

The setup phase is a considered a pre-launch phase as it involves preparing the testing environment, finalizing requirements, completing the setup form, scheduling a kick-off meeting, and forming a pentest team.

1. Finalize Assessment Details

  • 1.1 Set Assessment Start Date: Confirm the assessment start date to ensure precise planning and execution.

  • 1.2 Provide Detailed Asset Identification: Specify the asset identifier (domain/URL), access instructions, and scope of testing.

  • 1.3 Accept Rules of Engagement: Agree to the rules of engagement set by Trustline for the assessment.

  • 1.4 Include Additional Requirements: Add any relevant additional requirements or information.

2. Schedule Kick-off Meeting

2.1 Book Kick-off Call

  • Schedule Meeting: Arrange a kick-off call with your assigned Customer Success Manager (CSM) to finalize preparations.

3. Pentest team onboarding

Trustline selects, verifies, and onboards pentesters for your engagement to guarantee the right talent fit and the most effective results.

4. Updating Assessment Phase to Testing

  • Once the prerequisites are in place, the testing phase will start on the scheduled date.

The setup phase typically takes 1 to 3 working days starting from the kick off meeting date. However, the exact duration may vary depending on the complexity and size of your assessment in addition to your readiness to complete the setup.
